God has a personal mission for everyone of us and it is our desire to see people develop missional clarity in their lives. We believe that every member of the body is gifted to do good thing which God has prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2:10)
Here’s a few examples of how Restoration Christian Church is on Mission
Bowey’s Helping Hands
Bowey’s Helping Hands is one inspiring example of this mission in action. This ministry is focused on empowering children with challenges from Arthrogryposis, by raising funds for adaptive technology and resources that help them gain independence and joy in daily life. The heart of Bowey’s Helping Hands is about seeing potential, offering hope, and enabling every child to thrive despite limitations.
Through events like fundraisers and community support, Bowey’s Helping Hands exemplifies how one person’s compassion can become a platform for kingdom impact — encouraging others to join in God’s work of restoration, dignity, and hope.
Evelyn’s Blessings
Evelyn’s Blessings is a heart-warming example of how God can use one person’s compassion to bring light and love into the lives of others — no matter their age or circumstance. Founded by a young girl named Evelyn, this ministry is dedicated to bringing joy, comfort, and companionship to residents of long-term care facilities through the gift of therapy companion animals and dolls.
Evelyn’s journey began when she saw how a simple baby doll brought comfort to a nursing home resident. Moved by that moment, she decided she wanted everyone in long-term care to experience that same joy and connection. What started with one gift has grown into a ministry that spreads smiles, warmth, and love through lifelike companion pets and therapy babies — helping seniors and residents feel seen, valued, and cared for.
What makes Evelyn’s Blessings especially powerful is its reminder that God can use each of us, even children, to reflect His heart for others. Through this ministry, Evelyn teaches us that compassion doesn’t wait for adulthood and that simple acts of kindness can have profound spiritual and emotional impact.
Widow’s Banquet
Each year, Kali Walls hosts a special Widow’s Banquet at Restoration Christian Church. It’s a joyful evening of fellowship, encouragement, and honor for widows in our community. This banquet is designed to celebrate, support, and uplift women who have lost a spouse, giving them a place to connect, share stories, enjoy a meal together, and feel treasured in God’s family.
Through warm fellowship, meaningful conversations, and a spirit of celebration, this event reflects our church’s heart to walk alongside widows with compassion and love, just as Scripture calls us to care for those in every season of life
Missions Trips
Mission trips are one of the ways we live out God’s call to serve beyond our walls and partner with the global Church. In March 2025, Restoration Christian Church took our first mission trip to Kingston, Jamaica, serving alongside our friends at Pennwood Christian Church.
This trip allowed our team to build relationships, serve the local community, and experience how God is working through believers around the world. Through mission trips, we invite people to step into God’s mission, grow in faith, and serve in ways that reflect Christ’s love across cultures.
